Tonight, I decided to look at a history of Balmain's collections in order to see what trends Christophe Dicarnin has carried on into Spring 2010. You should keep in mind that Balmain is a new favorite of mine, so I may go a little overboard with the amount of pictures. But Balmain seems to have a rough edge, and I have been into labels with that rebel-child side lately. For example, Rodarte is another designer that has caught my attention.
Here is an example of the stud trend shown during Fall 2009.
Another great trend is the metallic craze. This trend is shown in the Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 shows, respectively.
Two trends that can go hand in hand are the strong-shouldered and military trends. Here are some images in which either one trend is depicted or both are.
Oh, and did I mention how beautiful the shoes are?
